Cindal Cooley beckons bold new worlds and characters into our reality with captivating stories of fantastical situations and people.

On a cold December night in 1986 Cindal Cooley was born into our world to a loving family in Middle Tennesee. From an early age she began creating stories. While playing together with the dozens of toy horses her daughter adored, Cindal's mother discovered that her child had created extensive back stories, personalities, and relationships for each of the tiny equines. She encouraged her daughter to write the detailed accounts of their escapades down. It wasn't long after that Cindal tried her hand at her first novel, now barely remembered and probably lost in a manila envelope at the bottom of a keepsake drawer. Elementary school only served to exacerbate an already growing love of the written word. Her second unfinished work tentatively titled The Quest fell by the wayside in early 7th grade when another work butted into her life, inspired by a very vivid dream. It would take 5 years before that work now known as Cloud's Keeper was finished.

After years of editing and graphic design Cloud's Keeper was published in June 2008, just as Cindal began to dive head first into a prequel, Legacy of Stone. The following novels will hopefully establish the series as a quintet.

Cindal is also working on a dark fantasy series titled Dark Divinity. Check back often to see what's next on her agenda.

When not writing she enjoys spending time with her husband and two cats in their lake adjacent home. She bakes, draws, and practices photography.
